Held every two years by Burnley Council, the awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of businesses across the borough, recognising excellence, innovation and success within the local business community.
The Manufacturing Excellence Award recognises organisations that demonstrate exceptional performance in manufacturing while making a significant contribution to Burnley’s economy through innovation, quality, operational excellence and sustainable growth. Following a rigorous application and interview process, HycAero was shortlisted before being announced as the category winner.
The award was accepted on behalf of the business by Johnathon Tate, Thermal Coatings & CNC Manufacture Manager, alongside members of the HycAero team.
Reflecting on the achievement, Johnathon said:
